About Me
In my photography, I seek to develop stories by getting to know the subjects and using my camera to evoke their personalities. I am passionate about giving a voice to them. True life always brings out the best in me because people are so fascinating. I strive hard to capture the soul of my subjects and portray their experiences through authentic, beautiful, and meaningful images. My goal is to provoke emotions; documentary photography allows me to accomplish that. I like my subjects to feel confident generating a natural approach rather than posed, as this can radically change the tone of a photograph.
Robert Capa once said, “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough." My images reflect the closeness and trust I have with my subjects. They know I am there, so it is not just about a fly-on-the-wall technique.
I look for unique opportunities to inspire others. It excites me when the unpredictable happens when I capture an environmental shot of someone working or a youngster running around chaotically. Nothing compares to the thrill of freezing those magic moments. It is a pleasure to meet new people and to share their stories with you, the viewer.
